Favourite Ways To Pass Time...

I haven't had much spare time lately.. Especially as I did 60 hours over time last month. Hello money!!

But.. Saturday at 7pm was the start of my 17 day break from work. I'm unbelieveably excited to just do nothing :)

I've been having a few lazy days since and thankfully I've managed to be off when there's some good weather here in Ireland. What's the chances!

So far I've been spending my lazy days catching up on tv shows, watching a lot of youtube videos, online shopping, or should I say browsing, and reading so many blog posts and therefore adding items to my want list.

I've fully embraced the hermit life! 

I thought I'd update you all on some of my favourite corners of the internet to enter and spend a whole lot of time you didn't mean too.. (I'm pretty much a pro at this!)

1. YouTube

This website must take must take up so much of my time. I watch so many vloggers/daily vloggers which means a lot of catching up on the daily. I really like to watch so many different kinds of videos. When it comes to beauty of course I love Jaclyn Hill, NikkieTutorials, Jeffree Star, Patrick Starr, Manny MUA and so much more. In lifestyle I love Zoella's videos and her vlogs. For all other kinds of videos I love Caspar Lee, ThatcherJoe, Josh Pieters, Oli White, Pewdiepie, JackSepticEye, Syndicate (especially his vlogs) and so many more!! I spend so much time watching vlogs and being genuinely jealous of their lives.

2. Tumblr

This website I love for looking up cool aesthetics, find awesome artwork and edits. I always look out for cool ideas for my blog here and looking at cool ways to take photos and inspiration!

3. Clothing Websites

I love shopping for new styles and just looking on sites to see the newest items. My favourite websites that I usually end up rotating on a daily basis are ASOS, Missguided and Boohoo!

4. Instagram

I could scroll on here all day, to be fair I still don't know how I feel about instagram stories, but I love going on people's feeds who spend a lot of time of their theme! I always try to have a great theme but it never works and basically annoys me haha! I'm trying to up my insta game.. Follow me HERE.

5. Netflix

Oh my. I can spend hours bingeing tv shows. Lately I've been keeping up to date on Power (unreal) and Pretty Little Liars! Power is so amazing and has me hooked, thankfully Netflix have been updating the new episodes every Monday as I definitely couldn't wait until season 3 finished! Pretty Little Liars is on the last season and I feel like I'll be missing out if I didn't finish it as I've been watching for the last seven years but it definitely is losing my interest. I feel like they should be narrowing down who A is not introducing new characters/old characters back!!

6. Pokemon Go

Admittedly, I haven't been gracing the outside world with my presence lately lol, the hermit life is for me. But when I'm out and about I love catching pokemon, I'm determined to level up more as I've seen so many people over taking me lately :( I also need to hatch so many eggs!!

So that's the lazy day activities I've been up to lately. Constantly switching from my Phone, iPad and Wii U haha, making the most of my time off! 

I also might become a pro at Mario Kart 8 in my days off... Let me know some of your favourite lazy day activities and anything I should be doing on my time off!

Snapshot: Sunday 21st February 2016.

I've been looking to post more personal posts on this blog as well as my make up looks and products etc. When thinking of new ways to do this I decided to do 'Snapshot' posts. I'll post a few snaps of that day possibly about what I did, what I wore, what my make up look was and general fun from my day. I find these kinds of things fun to check out on other blogs so I thought I'd try this idea out!

My first 'snapshot' is from Sunday past. This was my usual lazy Sunday morning catching up on YouTube videos and blog posts, making pancakes and regrettably getting out of my pj's once the afternoon nears..

I then got showered and ready and got Chinese food with my friend. I love doing casual things like this on Sunday. I hadn't seen her in a while so we caught up and ate good food - perfect!

I went slightly more 'natural' for my makeup. I had dewy skin still with good coverage, a light powder contour, light dusting of cool brown toned eyeshadow in my crease, used my highlight on my lid (as well as brow bone & facial highlighing areas), did my brows as usual, placed small 'natural' eyelashes on and Jeffree Star Androgyny Liquid Lipstick.

I wore black high waisted jeans from Wallis, a grey top from Matalan (Not in stock no more but very easy to find something similar), my Urban Renewal Levi's denim jacket (favourite) and my favourite Adidas Tubular in Grey which I got on ASOS but they are sold out right now. (I didn't get a full outfit pic as I was by myself and that was too hard)

We decided to go see Zoolander 2 that evening. I enjoyed the first so I was excited and it really is what me and my friend would call 'our' humour lol! It was a good film (got nothing on Deadpool obviously) and I had a good night. I did change my shoes before going to a small heeled black chelsea boot I got from Primark. These shoes were an absolute steal.. I paid £3 in the sale!! Obviously they aren't going to last forever but for now they're great! They have the perfect heel height for me as I'm pretty tall already and they are pretty comfortable. I've even worn them to work which is the ultimate comfort test as that includes countless hours on my feet in a busy store - they have my approval now!

To complete my look I added some of my favourite Primark false nails. These are a steal for £1 and paired with my Superdrug nail glue last me up to 7 days! For £1 I also get 2 pairs in each pack, what more could a girl want!! These are the most beautiful colour and I'm in love. I also may or may not have purchased 4 packets... Oops. I can't resist!

Sunday was a great day filled with fun things and great company. I really enjoyed myself and hope you guys enjoyed this little snippet of my day! I'll definitely be posting more of these are they are super fun and I'll hopefully get some full length outfit photos posted soon for you guys!

What I Got for Christmas!

Hi guys!

I know it's been a while but here's back to more regular posts and fun product reviews, ootd, fotd, hauls etc!

I was absolutely spoilt over Christmas, such a lucky girl!

I got some absolutely amazing things and here's a bit about what I got this Christmas as I'm always nosey to see what everyone else got too!

My friends and family know me well as pjs were a big hit for me, lol! I got ones from my friends and two of my sisters! (Spy those unicorn pjs in the top left.. Amazing!)

My 'big' presents were my Wii U & Adidas trainers I have lusted after forever! I even have them on right now, they're my new favourite!

I got a 2 bobble hats, a Wonder Woman bobble head, and then lots of misc goodies like a Thor tee, lots of sweets/chocolate and then beauty items like nails, eyelashes, etc! They're always so handy as I go through a LOT.

One cool item I got was Jack Wills brushes which also come in a nice case. I put a picture in below because I really love them and the pink matches my make up case, which I love!!

Another really cool item which sticks out is this Luxury Beauty box from Amazon. It was part of an offer from which I got other presents, if you spent over £40 you got this box free, but it includes some cool sample/smaller sized products to try out! I'm going to do another post going into detail about all these products as I think this is a cool idea and might introduce you to products you haven't seen yet like myself!

All in all, I had a really great Christmas with my family and many great nights out with my friends (really excited for NYE!).

Christmas Day Outfits.. Blogmas day twenty three!

Hi guys!

Christmas day for me is a day for visiting the family, playing with my new gifts and eating my body weight in food while watching tv!

People tend to visit on this day so I try to dress up a little but make sure I'm still comfy enough to lounge about.. And lets be honest, the pjs appear earlier than usual that day! lol

Favourite Plus Size Stores

Hi!

I thought for a first ‘real’ post I would post where I currently shop to find the best plus sized items. This list includes some of my favourite shops which I frequently buy from (probably too often) and shops which I have occasionally purchased from.

If you’ve any questions about sizing, length, what I bought and how I styled it (I’ll be adding posts on this very soon especially coming up to the Christmas party season), or any other question please feel free to ask me!
