Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner

Say hello to your new black liquid eyeliner obsession!

I seen these eyeliners everywhere online. Anyone who had an interest in Korean/Japanese makeup has posted multiple times about these! The packaging is so cute and they caught my eye.

I remember Marzia Bisognin using this in a YouTube tutorial and her eyeliner looked flawless, I needed this product but couldn't find it readily available here in the UK. Then I very recently saw Fleur De Force talk about this eyeliner after she picked it up in Japan and her eyeliner also looked amazing. I knew then and there I needed this eyeliner. I searched the internet for this product and came across it on eBay! It was a great price (£7.99 incl. delivery, super affordable!) and its so cute! I couldn't resist it!

When this eyeliner arrived I was so surprised!! It's amazing. The tip is ultra thin at the top, perfect for my sharp cat eye that I love. The brush itself if very soft so you can vary the pressure to get extremely thin lines to thick lines to fill in your desired shape - so versatile! The packaging it very 'kawaii' and helped to sell the product to me. I'm a sucker for packaging!

This eyeliner is produced by Japanese model Tsubasa Masuwaka. She released the whole Dolly Wink range which includes eyelashes, glue and nail polishes to name a few products! Check them out also!

I'm such a fan of this and definitely 100% recommend this to everyone! Here's a picture of my make up from the weekend when I used my eyeliner for the first time:

That cat eye - yaaaaas! Here's a closer picture for you to see what this eyeliner looks like up close, this photo was taken a few hours after I applied the eyeliner. The staying power was great especially as my eczema on my eyelids is so bad at the minute and I have an oil based moisturiser and ointment under my makeup! (This is also the reason for the SLIGHT bleeding out of the line on top of my tight line but I am unbelievably impressed)

As you can probably tell I love this product and I will be repurchasing a back up of this pretty soon. This is my new favourite eyeliner!

Have any of you tried this eyeliner and what do you think? If not, would you purchase it in the future? Let me know!

New Room Tour & Christmas Decorations.. Blogmas day fourteen!!

Hey Guys!

Here's a small room tour after I redecorated my bedroom and a look at some of my new Christmas decorations!!

Firstly, as it's probably more than obvious my favourite thing is lights! I'm obsessed. I just love how I can turn them on and they can just completely change the mood of my room!

At the minute I've strip lights under my shelves/along my wall (They can change to give my room 16 different shades of colour - amazing!!), christmas multicoloured lights on my top shelf, white light lanterns on my window and purple fairy lights on my small Christmas tree.

Here's what my strip lights are like when I'm watching films etc. on my computer! They look so cool. To match my pastel theme I have going on I have them usually set to a pink/purple colour as shown!

My wallpaper is Clouds on one wall, my two side walls are pastel pink and my wall with the lights on it is white to brighten the colour from the lights.

I've now added my TV to the bottom of my bed along with my computer, so good for not moving/playing games!

I have my favourite/most used cosmetics and things sitting on my shelves and when they're lit up they also look really cool!

Underneath my shelf is my area where I usually get ready it has strip lights and bunting with my name that I got as a gift. It's really cute.

One of my favourite things in my room is my light shade. This is an iridescent light shade from b & q and I am in love. It's so pretty!!!

Onto my tree area! I have a 3ft pink tree from B&Q with mini baubles from Primark on it and a set of 20 battery operated purple fairy lights on it from eBay. Beside my tree I have my favourite Lindt advent calender and my pink earmuffs from Primark - so cosy!

That's all from my room so far! I'm super happy with it and LOVE chilling in it!

Primark Nails.. Blogmas day ten!

Hi guys!

As you more or less know from my constant mentioning of them in posts I am pretty much obsessed with Primark nails. For £1 including glue (and for me usually 2 pairs) they are pretty hard to beat. The selection they also come in is overwelming! I have glitter, matte, 'claw' shaped, translucent, pastel and more! They are my favourite nail out there for shape and size as they fit my hands perfectly and many people are surprised to hear that they aren't my own natural nails!

The glue is also pretty good. I know of other glues which can give me a similar last (time-wise) for a lot more money!

Here's a picture of some pairs I have which I haven't worn:

Here's a few pairs on me to show what they're like when on:

I also thought I'd add some tips as I wear these constantly and have for a few years (I'm rarely seen without them!)

1. Put the glue on your own nail and not the false one as it's a lot easier to stick it down then!

2. Push down hard on the nail for up to 10 seconds to ensure the glue has set slightly and to get rid of any air under the nail and make sure its flat to your own.

3. To make them look more natural don't be afraid to file the nail. This is a step I personally don't find necessary with these nails.

4. Finally, put the curved edge to the bottom as this makes the nail fit better on your nail bed and gives them a more natural look.

Milk + Blush Hair Extensions Review.. Blogmas day six!

Hey!

Today I'm going to review the Milk + Blush Hair Extensions. (Formally known as Dirty Looks)

I got the full head triple set - ombre hair extensions in the colour 'Spaced Out' which is a nearly black (I'd say close to a 1b) to a grey colour as shown below..

I chose the 20-22" length as I prefer the longer length and I think they don't look as long on me as it would on others.

The full price for these extensions in the 16-18" is £89.99 before delivery.
and for the 20-22" is £104.99 you can find them both HERE.

So, here's my story with my extensions and how I felt about them..

To be honest when I first opened the package I thought these extensions weren't grey at all, I was kinda confused as they looked a dark blonde/light brown shade and even my sister agreed! Then once I took out the test strip to check the root colour I noticed they looked noticeably lighter but definitely not grey.. yet.

I continued to just open the packet with the full head of extensions as they were so soft and whatever the colour was they looked so beautiful so I was definitely keeping them! I did this and put the full head in to get an idea of how they looked.

Once I did this I went to my room to check them out in the bigger mirror. This is when I noticed the colour! As I was in a different room with a more yellow light they appeared darker but once I went into my room with a white light they are a pale blonde/toned grey and are so gorgeous! This colour is so hard to explain as they constantly change in whichever light I am in (as most hair colours do).

So, wether I'm in a yellow lit room, a more white lit room or natural light they'll never look the same colour but I am so in love with it!

It's an ashy blonde with a toned grey look and it's so complementary to the dark root and the ombre is done so well as I was slightly worried of having a very harsh dip dye line as thats something I definitely don't like but the blend in these are also amazing!

I can't talk any better of these.

The quality of the hair is long, extremely soft and the thickness from the root to tip is the same throughout so there is no thinning at the bottom!

As mine are triple weft there is 3 wefts to each piece, 3 times the thickness of the usual set. These are the perfect thickness for anyone who like myself has very short hair as my own hair doesn't really mix with the extensions to thicken them up!

Here's a photo I took the first time I wore my extensions. I styled them with my straightner on the lowest heat (150 degrees) to try to maintain the best quality of the hair I could.

Another thing I want to talk about is the packaging. I'm a real sucker for packaging and omg do Milk + Blush deliver!!

My extensions arrived in a small pale pink box with a simple Milk + Blush written on the front (so cute!). Inside was a card discussing the new name, another small card which said 'This isn't a dream' and contained the websites info which I'll link at the end, a care guide on products and info on how to maintain the hair and nice silver packaging containing the hair!

Here's photos of my hair with the extensions in:

The second photo is A LOT truer to colour.

So all in all these extensions are amazing!! They're the best extensions I've used (and that's A LOT).

Here is all of Milk + Blush's links and definitely check them out!

November Favourites.. Blogmas day five!

Hi guys,

today I thought I'd let you in on all my favourites from November as it's creeping further and further into December!

I'll group these into 3 categories;

1. Make up/beauty
2. Clothes & accessories
3. Misc favourites!

Onto category one..

My first and biggest favourite throughout November has been Ari by Ariana Grande. I just love Ariana. Her style, her music and just her. (We definitely needed more Ariana in Scream Queens, just saying.)
When I heard she was releasing a scent I knew I had to smell it and omg it didn't disappoint! It's a very sweet smelling perfume with, I think, marshmallow being a very prominent scent. If you think maybe that's not for me definitely just give this scent a smell. If I had to bottle myself into a scent I would say it was this and I don't see myself wearing any other perfume for a long time. I also need to mention the packaging. It came is a beautiful pastel coloured box with photos of Ariana on the sides in black and white. I still have the box displayed in my room because it's so gorgeous! The bottle itself is the most beautiful shape but the best part for me is the faux fur ball keyring on the neck of the bottle to replicate spray atomisers! It really looks amazing and when I wear the scent I get lots of compliments and when people see the bottle they are always asking what I use!

I'm also pretty obsessed with two winter lipsticks! Twig from Mac was always my go to daily lipstick (and still kinda is). But, I've been trying to mix it up slightly for winter and now my hair is dark I've been rocking Beguiled from Topshop and Stone from Mac. Beguiled is a colour I've been wearing for over a year but it's a nice rich darker red lipstick. Stone is a brown coloured lipstick which on my skin tone has a very slight grey tone to it and I love it for this time of year but sometimes I do find it hard to wear!

On to my nails! A nail favourite is definitely Ethereal nail polish from Accessorise. It's the most beautiful sheer iridescent shade and is amazing over a pale pastel shade for winter. I had been wearing it as a top coat over a pale pink and it was gorgeous and left my nails an amazing frosty pink shade.
As usual, Primark nails have become a staple in my winter wardrobe (and every other season). The newer designs are so cool with different glitter shades, pastels and longer 'claw' nails being released! I'm in love and stock up on multiple pairs everytime I am in a Primark!
I recently got a set of nails which were cloud print and they may be some of my favourites ever. The colours are lovely and they make a great change to the usual one colour nails!

In clothing/accessories..

My next favourite is knee high/thigh high boots. I have recently purchased over the knee black flat boots but I also have high heeled versions which I got on Public Desire last year. They're basically everywhere now but I can't talk highly enough of them as they are super cosy and comfortable and now I can wear my flats most of the time and switch to a heeled pair for a night out - perfect!! I rock mine during the day with a nice jumper dress, scarf & coat and they look super cosy and make it look like I definitely made an effort! For a night time look I pair my heeled version with a mini-dress or skirt and top. They're perfect for covering up a little more without wearing tights!

Onto my misc favourites..

My November favourite for candles is Candy Cane Lane. I think it's a perfect November scent as it's got that distinct Christmas mint smell but isn't too over bearing for anyone who isn't in the Christmas spirit before December.. Time to get Home Sweet Home burning soon I think!

Processed with VSCOcam with c1 preset

A purchase I made in November which has taken up quite a lot of my time is an adult colouring book! This is great for clearing your head or just something to mindlessly do to pass time. I highly recommend!

My last favourites are entertainment based. They are one tv show, 2 anime's and 2 artists to check out!

Tv Show: Scream Queens. This show. I watched it firstly and wasn't fussed and now I'm hooked. It's so bad it's great! Ariana being in it doesn't hurt either but the cast is great and it's just an easy watch if you've a spare 40 mins!

Anime: I recently got the premium Crunchy Roll. (Where was this all my life?) It's so much better and I can read manga from my Phone etc so easily now! I'm currently finishing Watamote. This is the perfect show for an outsider because I think you'll relate too. It's a good show but not one of my favourites.
My second fav was a show I always meant to watch and never did until last month. It's Anohana. I've seen so many people talk about this so I finally watched it. It's so emotional and all I'll say is that I cried like a baby at the end. It's definitely worth a watch!

Music: My favourite kinda music is singer/songwriter with an electronic heart. Therefore it's no surprise LIGHTS & Porter Robinson are among my fav artists ever. But recently I haven't stopped listening to Purity Ring's most recent stuff which is amazing and Grimes new album which is insanely good!

So there it is. My Nov favs..
What is your favourites last month or just ever? Let me know so I can check some of it out or if you've any recommendations for me please post them!
